The Photo Club is a project that offers students the opportunity to explore themselves, the community, and the world through the medium of photography. The program is designed to enrich student's knowledge of the photographic arts coupled with the deep exploration and analysis of the subjects in which they capture film. Photographic topics explored will vary from traditional still photography, digital still photography, photojournalism, to video and movie-making programs. Visual literacy skills are very important in today's world as we continue to move into a technologically driven society. The Photo Club will serve to cultivate these skills in addition to the basic educational skills that are paramount to a student's academic success.
