2008 Summer Institute

All teachers will participate in a week long Summer Institute on
August 4 -8, 2008. Participants will learn to write curriculum, develop lessons and rubrics from the curriculum, and assess student work products. The Summer Institute will also include a focus on leadership and math across the curriculum.

Vision Statement

To prepare educators as leaders who will service students in the classroom, and will affect transformational change in the community, at the district level, state level, nationally, and globally.

Mission Statement

The Science of Leadership Institute will better equip and prepare educators for the challenges of teaching in the urban setting and for providing children with the necessary tools for education and for career exploration and success.
